Scrap: China maintains 40% export tariffs also in 2024
According to the recently published Chinese Tariff Adjustment Plan for 2024, the export tariffs of 40% on ferrous scrap and stainless steel scrap will remain in force. The Chinese government’s annual list currently includes 107 products that are subject to special export tariffs.
