The European Commission has published today, May 28, 2021, the provisional anti-dumping duties on stainless steel products from India and Indonesia and now enter into force.

Anti-dumping duties for India and Indonesia
As a result, anti-dumping duties are now in place for ex India 13.6% to 34.6% and ex Indonesia 19.9% to 20.2%.
Open anti-subsidy case
Still open is the smoldering anti-subsidy case against Indian and Indonesian stainless steel products. The European Commission has not yet announced a final decision.
Further shortages on the European stainless steel market
The European Commission’s decision will contribute to a further shortage of stainless steel on the already tight EU market.
