Domestic prices for hot-rolled coil rose day by day in Northern Europe on Tuesday, Dec. 15. Due to a shortage of material on the market.
Steel producers are already preparing to announce higher offers soon. So reports the portal fastmarkets.com.

Daily domestic index for hot-rolled coils
Fastmarkets calculated its daily index for hot-rolled coils, domestic, exw Northern Europe at €636.25 ($772.68) per ton on Dec. 15. This represents an increase of €12.92 per ton from €623.33 per ton on Monday, Dec. 14.
The index also rose €58.75 per ton on a weekly basis and €107.50 per ton on a monthly basis.
Tuesday’s index was based on “workable” prices, which were €620-650 per ton ex-works, and offers, which were €650 per ton ex-works.
One steelmaker offered material for €680 per ton ex-works, sources said, although this was not included in the index calculation.
